The Future Future League (or FFL for short) is an internal playtest league in Magic R&D that attempts to test and predict what Magic: The Gathering and the metagame will be like a year from now.

The FFL tests primarily Standard, Booster Draft, and Block Constructed.

"Why two Futures? Because R&D used to have a league called the FL, or Future League, that looked only six months ahead." - Mark Rosewater
