David Price (aka "The King of Beatdown") is a Magic: The Gathering player.

During one of his most important performances he went to the top using his signature deck - Deadguy Red - at Pro Tour Los Angeles 1997.

Price has also established a name through a few articles that are among the most read on the internet. Price is often associated with a more complex approach to beatdown. “The Art of Beatdown” is among one of his best articles. [1]

Quotes

“  People like control because they think it shows that they're good Magic players. Active decks, on the other hand, produce threats, and control decks must have the right answer to the right threat. If not, they're in trouble. While there are wrong answers, there are no wrong threats. [2]  ”
