Cockatrice

A Cockatrice was a flying species which can turn its enemies to stone. They had lithe, feathery, serpentine bodies with the head of a bird, two legs, and two wings.

A Cockatrice was once summoned by Jared Carthalion when he was inside Castle Melmereth. It both killed and was destroyed by a Clockwork Avian.

Another Cockatrice was contained inside an Apocalypse Clock.
