Phyrexian mana symbols (Template:W!, Template:G!, Template:R!, Template:B!, Template:U!) were introduced in New Phyrexia. The phyrexian symbol (Phi, ϕ) on a colored background can be paid with either 2 life or a colored mana of the background color of the symbol. Phyrexian mana was featured as rules card 1 of 4 in the New Phyrexia set.
