I have been clicking the random page button for a while, and boy does some pages need a lot of tending. It's a miracle that some of them are still there, because most pages I had deleted from this wiki due to low contents did a much better job...

Losers Guide? What is this? Clearly, you still do not understand the sort of articles that belong in a wiki. This was (and I say was, becasue I'll shortly be deleting it) an ADVICE article, which is definately not what a wiki is about. this is an encyclopedia, not a how-to guide. It can LINK to how-to guides, but is not the place to post them.
Let me try to clarify what sorts of things should go here, because you keep making similar mistakes: a wiki, or any encyclopedia, is where someone goes when they want to know, "What is/was that?" or "Who is/was that?" or most simply, "What does (insert term) mean?" It is NOT where they look to find out "How do I do this?" Does this help you?
(ps: even in your own user talk, please sign your posts, which is easily done with four tildes ([nowiki][[User:VestDan|VestDan]] 20:53, 22 January 2007 (CST)[/nowiki]))[[User:VestDan|VestDan]] 20:53, 22 January 2007 (CST)
