Bascially, this is the same stuff at Wikipedia, and you can read about editing and how to do it there.--Magic Mage 01:36, 8 January 2007 (CST)
Okay both:

Combobrary
Take a look at this: Counterbalance.
You can also look at other wiki-pages to see how to use main atributes. Please, do a little more research before you'll make more a little bit messed articles ;). Anyways, I think it's a good idea to make some combo-database in this wiki.  MORT 11:08, 4 January 2007 (CST)

However, I don't really think that this project of combos should be known as a Combobrary. We can just create Category:Combos, or just give known combos for all cards that are or will be in this wiki with subtitles (without any categories). But I'm not to decide for all our community, so I'll wait to see what other people say.
Thats how I intended Project combobrary to be (with an added "Central station") I hope that's enough to qualify as worthwhile ;)
(I also tried to clear up a little your Burnt Offering using subtitles and card tags, which I recommend to use.) MORT 11:27, 4 January 2007 (CST)

Please don't start big projects like Combobrary without at least consulting the admins/the wiki thread on Salvation to see how to best go about it. In this case, Combobrary is really not a worthwhile or feasible project to undertake here. There's plenty of other stuff that needs to be worked on -- even related stuff, like deck articles (specifically, combo decks, eh?). Please work on something like that instead. So what exactly is worthwhile ??? Is there a general list/thread on what projects should be made ? I like big projects but may not have the skill yet to make things look good, so am I to assume that any project I attempt will be de-selected due to unskillfull use ??? --Wicked Darkman

*If you don't think you yet have the skill to make pages look good, just hold off on big projects for a little while. Start out small--browse around a bit, see what articles should look like, see how various formatting tags work. Then make a page on a topic, say a famous deck or, since you seem to like combos, an influential card. (Keep in mind, though, articles on a card should have any information of interest the card might have -- not just what combos it is part of, but how successful/popular those combos are, why they were so successful, what difficulties that combo or even that card had in its environments, etc.) Be as extensive as you can, but I understand that no one person knows everything about every subject. That's what makes wikis so nice--we add all our info together.

Anyway, to sum up my long blathering response -- I suggest avoiding big projects for now, until you have a good handle on general article making. Hope that helps. VestDan 19:05, 7 January 2007 (CST)

MORT's welcoming and tips

Welcome Wicked Darkman! Phyrexian portals are nice devices to jump to another boards of Magic, aren't they? ;)

I have some small tips for you. You can click on edit page of this discussion to see how to do this:

card tags: Glimpse of Nature

Title

subtitles

more subtitles

etc.

Next Title

And please, don't use CAPITALIZED TEXT but titles like above.
