Dark Mazes were a semi-sentient phenomenon created on the Floating Isle by a son of a bureaucrat from Aysen. He was destroyed in their creation leaving the misty mazes to wander around the Dark Barony, where anyone who was trapped inside would later be found torn to pieces.
