Artifact lands is a term used in reference to the six land cards printed in Mirrodin and Darksteel that also have the artifact type. This addition contributed to the dominance of Affinity, and thus, in June 2004, all six were banned from Standard. The artifact lands are (Mana produced):
- Ancient Den (white)
- Seat of the Synod (blue)
- Vault of Whispers (black)
- Great Furnace (red)
- Tree of Tales (green)
- Darksteel Citadel (colorless)
