The Black Mana Battery was an artifact retrieved by the Elder Dragon Vaevictus Asmodi, who was in the form of a dragon whelp at the time, for Palladia-Mors before the Brothers' War. Palladia-Mors used it to summon a Shimian Night Stalker.
