Vaevictus Asmodi/Vaevictis Asmadi was a Elder Dragons who survived the Elder Dragon Wars along with his cousins Palladia-Mors, Chromium Rhuell, Nicol Bolas and Arcades Sabboth. Much later he was transformed into a dragon whelp by the planeswalker Faralyn. He then found a human called Red Donald whose control he pretended to be under, but he was actually manipulating him to get to (presumably), and begin digging in, Mors Ridge, in order to undo the trickery that held Palladia-Mors, so he could get her help. When she was released, Vaevictus did indeed convince her to return him to his previous state as an elder dragon after retrieving a black mana battery for her. He then fought Chromium, but Chromium managed to get him to understand that Palladia-Mors wanted to use him to kill Chromium but be left in a weakened state himself so that she could easily kill him later. So he attacked Palladia-Mors, but she reversed one of his spells, and he disappeared from the battle. It is possible that Vaevictus survived the duel, but there is no conclusive evidence, which may mean his cousin killed him in their duel. It is very likely he died as a result of the fight, as Bolas has stated that none of his peers still exist.
