Samut is a former initiate of Tah crop, who later became a notorious dissenter. She is very atlethic and able to move very fast.

Samut used to be best friends with Djeru and Nakht. After the death of Nakht outside the Hekma, Samut studied the dance and martial arts of the past in the forgotten distict of Naktamun, and discovered that her people's history had been wiped from memory.[1][2]

She refused to participate in the Trials of the Five Gods and warned against the coming of the God-Pharaoh, the Great Trespasser.[3][4]
