IDW Publishing is an American publisher of comic books, graphic novels, art books and comic strip collections. The company was founded as the publishing division of Idea and Design Works, LLC (IDW) and is regularly recognized as the fourth-largest comic book publisher in the United States.
In January 2012, IDW Publishing began printing the first official Magic comics produced outside of the Wizards of the Coast in over a decade. [1] The series follows the exploits of the planeswalker thief Dack Fayden.
