Revision as of 17:08, 13 March 2015

How are we going to handle the piles of mega-cycles that Dragons of Tarkir is going to add? Depending on how we define a "megacycle", there's at least two (the Spirit Dragon lands and the Witness of the Ages mega-cycles). Other mega-cycles that might or might not count, in no particular order:

  • Basic Lands from each set that depict the same place at different point in the timeline
  • The Khans/Fate Reforged Duals that depict the same place at different points in the timeline
  • The Khans Fetchlands that depict the Dragonlords' corpses, and the living Dragonlords in Fate Reforged and Dragons of Tarkir
  • The Khans from Khans of Tarkir, the Khans of Fate Reforged, and alternate-timeline counterparts of the first group in Dragons of Tarkir
  • Meandering Towershell/Wandering Tombshell
  • Marang River Prowler/Marang River Skeleton
  • Savage Punch/Epic Confrontation
  • The Uncommon 6-drop 4/4 flying dragon cycles from Fate Reforged and Dragons of Tarkir
  • Heartpiercer Bow/Renowned Weaponsmith/Vial of Dragonfire
