Ryan Spain is a former video game designer who in 2011 became a digital Magic designer at Wizards of the Coast. As such, he was the voice for Magic Online.[1] Before Ryan came to Wizards he was best known for doing a Magic podcast called Limited Resources.[2]
Ryan left Wizards of the Coast in July 2018, to become a full time streamer of Magic Arena under the name GoingOptimal. In 2022, he had returned to the company in the role of Creative Director for Magic Online[3] and later moved together with the game to Daybreak Games.[4]
