Hag is a creature type used for cards that depict a kind of malevolent female faerie, having the appearance of a wizened old woman. Sometimes Hags are decribed as nightmare spirits. Hags appear in all colors, but red.
The first cards to bear the type were Brine Hag in Legends and Scarwood Hag in The Dark.
Gwyllions
Hags returned with a vengeance on the plane of Shadowmoor, where these witchy creatures were known as gwyllions. Gwyllions prey on travelers who would dare cross through the rotting farmlands and bogs they call their home.[1] Examples are Desecrator Hag and Gwyllion Hedge-Mage
