B/W Tokens is a deck which premiered at Worlds 2008 and ended up being the second most played Standard deck. The strategy of the deck is purely aggro, as it aims to win by generating large armies of tokens via Bitterblossom, Spectral Procession, Cloudgoat Ranger, and Marsh Flitter. Despite not making the Top 8, the deck is still considered to be a major contender in the Standard environment.

Standard Revival 2012
Following the release of Dark Ascension, B/W Tokens saw a revival in Standard. The printings of cards such as Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Lingering Souls, Gather the Townsfolk, and Vault of the Archangel lead to people creating similar decks again in the format.
Combined with cards from the Innistrad expansion such as Midnight Haunting and Intangible Virtue, as well as Honor of the Pure from Magic 2012, the deck remains a popular <URL=http://wiki.mtgsalvation.com/article/Tier#Tier>Tier 2</URL> choice in the Standard metagame.
