Phyrexia

Can I use bullets here like on the main wikipedia site's article, and what kind of information do you want put under 'Millitarization'? Archlich 15:50, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

All right, thank you for the info. Archlich 20:08, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Uh, I don't know how to get the card info to come up for the War Beast, Dreadnought, or Collosus, and I would like permission to put in stuff on Phyrexian Religion, as well. Archlich 18:48, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey thanks a ton, I promise I'll stop bothering you now. Archlich 21:29, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

I am trying to pace myself, but I wanted the article on Phyrexia itself to show the length of the large place it has in Magic history, so I kept on writing. I might cut and paste that pile of text to a few more related articles, if I can; I noticed it was getting to be very expansive.Archlich 23:21, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Alright, I am done with Phyrexian history. I will make changes later, but first I am going to take some of the dialogue from the article over on the main wikipedia site, as it does a good job of describing the nature of the plane and its inhabitants. It also has a good commentary on Yawgmoth as a literary figure, which I would like because it offers a tribute to one of the best parts of a story that seems to be underrated. That is all (87)) Archlich 00:13, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Editing

It's Taj-Nar. Did I use both? I must be going crazy. I'll get right to fixing those.

Archlich 04:19, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

It's Ish Sah

Sorry about that. Really tired. I was up all night spider hunting :P Archlich 20:36, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Ah, is that what you meant all along? Again my apollogies, it is indeed Ish Sah, with no hyphen. Archlich 20:55, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Mirrodin

Hello? is it alright if I use level 2 headings on Mirrodin? Archlich 21:54, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Well I was thinkin of Mirrodin, though all the locations have been linked to their own articles.

PS- I fixed Mercadia and Kamigawa. Archlich 00:35, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Archlich editing

Thanks, I'll remember that about editing geographical locales from now on. Archlich 21:46, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

wickedtalk

I have been given green ligths at the other place, regarding the hivemind! You should also find another name for my talkpart, as MagicMage may be tempted to talk dirty to you. She loves words, and who knows what words she knows ;P I will try to be gentle, both with the phyrexians and our "invasion victim's". Phyrexians never break down!!! So far MR. DOOPLES, A1WITHNONAME and N810 have shown interrest! I was hoping for a higher number, but if I can whiplash a bit spirit into them it may be enough to stir the interrest of others. Optimally I want hundreds, but I think 10 is the ultimate minimum. (Don't ask me why 10 is the number, it just feels rigth! 10 guilds and all you know!) Faceless Wanderer 22:59, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Hmrnh! I have gleefully bounced into a problem! It's outlined in phyrexia, 4th sphere post will be called "MORT!!!" Faceless Wanderer 23:31, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Hah! Someone will feel the urge to compile all flavortext on unicorns and put it together in a poetic way, which spawns countless of other beautifull unicorn poems, which suddenly will be importent enough to link to!!! In salvations own pages they have called it "The war against wickeddarkman" like it was their war! It was mine, mine all along, and they were defenceless. Noone steals or figth my wars! But you can borrow one if you like! Faceless Wanderer 21:15, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

"there are no girls on the internet" !!! EEEK!!! Does that mean it's my turn to be BADLUCK next year? I knew there were something about that name!!! Faceless Wanderer 21:39, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Okay. I am starting my project from scratch now. search for Hivemind (000) and you will see a list appear at the searchline. That list will be expanded during the next days. The phyrexians are not involved yet, but have been invitet to look at it! Feel free to comment when you get the larger picture! Faceless Wanderer 03:11, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I noticed. Thanks Hannes, thanks MM. --MORT (T) 17:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

strenuously MORT is a MTGS Wiki Administrator. Maybe a user-page subpage, linked from the user talk page (this page)? MM (talk!) 15:21, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Ah yes, thanks for correcting my errors and such, again, MORT. Say, what areas do you specialise in, and do you have a particular vision (that you'd like to share with us) for the wiki? I mean, at the moment, there aren't many contributors, not to mention regulars... MM (talk!) 10:17, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations, MORT!!! Caranthir 18:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Re: 'MORS DICIT'

Well, you know that you have full support from me. It's a good idea doing that, but I'm thinking it'd be too demanding and strenuous. Also, I lack faith, for which I beg of your pardon; I can't envision one of these articles intertwining with the others of the same topic. Though, perhaps that's because it's late and I'm terribly loth to do anything, especially anything to do with electronics at the moment. MM (talk!) 13:42, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, MORT, I thought that most of the suggestions you made were excellent; and yes, I too felt that "NAME (species)" and "NAME (race)" would be doubling up on info. I also agree on GeoMike's suggestion and think that we should do that; but I also feel that that would create a lot of redirects, double-redirects, and disambiguation pages. And also, I can't really see other users being aware of this and using direct linking to the intended page, which is, by the way, much to my exasperation. On another moot note, I think the philosophy of the Occam's razor is quite applicable here; "entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity." MM (talk!) 07:20, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

RE: (card). Im not exactly sure what you mean. Originally we created (card) to avoid disambiguation with clans who names themselves after persons, cards, locations and so on. Its a matter of consequence. If we only add anti-ambiguation on some pagenames people will not be able to search out specific groups as easilly. There has to be a solid pattern that you can follow, that will be easy to decode once you got the hang of it. We may have to change and adapt (qqq) contents over the time to fit those needs better, but I think it is best to use one overall approach! And since we are on to categories I have some new sugestions to categories. We have the category (card) But why not also include (common card), (legacy set card) (pump card) (goblin card) (creature card) and so on and on and on! That way we will gain categories that will be very usefull in explaining certain concepts (Like burn). Also it will be much easier to scan through what cards we have pages on or not. There will be many benefits from such an approach! Oh, and MM, sometimes science is about finding solutions. By finding solutions to problems I remain somewhat scientific ;). I'm sorry, I can't comment now. I'll be probably very busy for few days. I'll do the comment later (probably in MM's talk). --MORT (T) 22:22, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

I'll be sure to reply whenever I get back; I shall be away. MM (talk!) 09:44, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Creature type-related articles

Do you think they should be named, say, "Zombies" rather than "Zombie"? How should they be written? Should they be "Zombies are blahblahblah" or "A zombie is a blahblahblah"?

I think that they should all conform in the way in which they are written and be standardized in templating and such. How do you say? MM (talk!) 13:08, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Then how about the titles, which I also happened to ask, MORT? MM (talk!) 07:09, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Systext

Eh, I was tinkering with the wiki and such, and then created it. I dunno whether it's worth the time. It's basically "official text". MM (talk!) 13:33, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

"{BLOCK NAME} Saga"

I was just wondering, for the categories, should they be "{BLOCK NAME} saga" or "{BLOCK NAME} Saga"? How exactly does the word "Saga" (or "saga") function in this sense/context? MM (talk!) 13:32, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes, exactly that; such as Mirari Saga and Mirrodin Saga. Capitalised "S"aga or lowercase? MM (talk!) 07:10, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Re: My blood

Well, it's because Archlich had created the article had created the article with "Glistening Oil" as the title, as you may see here: [1], prior to my meddling. I don't quite know what it is, as is the case with storyline-related articles, so I just to minor corrections apropos templating, formatting, spelling, etc. MM (talk!) 08:14, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Haha, I know... what I don't know about is the storyline. =P MM (talk!) 09:05, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Template edits

It's great that they're all categorized, but MORT can you see the problem that I see? It's evident on the very main page of the wiki, even! There's extra space.:( Could you please check that there is no extra space? Thanks. (I've done a bit of space-removing myself, by the way, so as to help, perhaps. =) ) MM (talk!) 08:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Make that there was space on the main page; I just removed the space in the templates that the page uses (well, actually, only just "announcements" and "majornews"). MM (talk!) 08:33, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
