Beautiful <card title="Hanna">Hanna, Ship's Navigator</card> was the blonde and often grease-stained navigator and engineer of the Weatherlight. She was the daughter of Barrin and his wife Rayne (and therefore a product of Urza's Bloodline Project), but decided to leave Tolaria to study artifice at the university in New Argive rather than studying magic at the Tolarian Academy as her father wished.  Because of this, Hanna and her father were not on speaking terms for many years, and Barrin only reconciled after her death.

While at university, Hanna befriended Orim and later the pair joined the crew of Weatherlight. There, she served as the navigator and put her education to use by studying the Legacy artifacts. She also developed a romantic interest in their inheritor, Gerrard Capashen. She felt betrayed when Gerrard left the ship, but the romance rekindled when Gerrard signed back on to rescue Sisay. She oversaw many improvements to the ship, incorporating the Juju Bubble, Skyshaper, Bones of Ramos, and Power Matrix into the engine core. She contracted a Phyrexian plague during the first days of the Phyrexian Invasion, and the cure Orim devised came too late to save her. When Barrin heard of his estranged daughter's death, he left Urza Planeswalker's service, exhumed her body to return it to Tolaria, reburied her next to his wife, and destroyed much of the island. Yawgmoth later tempted Gerrard with the promise of bringing Hanna back to life, but that was only an elaborate bluff. However, when Yawgmoth entered Dominaria, he animated and bound to his will all that was dead on the plane, including souls of Hanna, Rayne, and Barrin.
