UGW threshold is a deck that abuses the threshold mechanic out of the Odyssey (set). It uses cards such as Mental Note and effective card draw such as Brainstorm to reach that threshold point as quickly as possible. Once it gets there, it uses cheap, overpowered beats such as Nimble Mongoose and Tarmogoyf, which used to be Werebear, along with controlish creatures in the form of Meddling Mage to win the game as fast as possible. It also uses counterspells in the form of Force of Will, Daze and Counterspell to control the spells played, along with Swords to Plowshares for creature removal.
