Ogres are massive, brutish humanoids with low intelligence and great bloodlust. They appear in many different planes in many different forms. The archetypal ogre is seen especially in Mirrodin, where they're too dense to recognize a threat of any sort, they consume whatever they feel like, and they are normally outsmarted by goblins who use them as beasts of burden. In Ravnica, they are normally just hulking. Don't upset one and you'll be fine. They can actually be reasoned with in the infinite city, so long as you don't insult it. Whatever you do, however, stay far away from the ogres of Kamigawa. Living in the Takenuma Swamp and Sokenzan Mts., they do nothing but inflict pain, murder innocents, and summon oni to spread chaos. Hidetsugu in particular is to be feared.
