U/G Madness uses cards with the madness keyword in order to play them for less. Popular cards with magic which the deck uses are Basking Rootwalla and Arrogant Wurm. The deck also uses Wild Mongrel in order to discard cards with madness and make itself bigger. In addition Wonder is used to be discarded and give all of the madness player's creatures flying. For the blue section, Madness uses card draw that also makes you discard, such as careful study, and deck search that puts cards into your grave, like intuition. Roar of the Wurm is also used because of it's ferocity coupled with Wonder and Circular Logic for control purposes (you should have such a large graveyard that they can not pay for it).
U/G Madness combines permanents that allow the player to discard cards with cards with the madness keyword. The most common "discard outlet" is Wild Mongrel, which gets larger with each card discarded. Madness cards in the deck typically include Basking Rootwalla and Arrogant Wurm. Some variants include Wonder which can easily be discarded to grant flying to all of the deck's creatures. The deck's blue component also includes countermagic such as Circular Logic and discard outlets such as Careful Study. Roar of the Wurm often discarded so it can be played for its Flashback cost.

U/G Madness combines permanents that allow the player to discard cards with cards with the madness keyword. The most common "discard outlet" is {C}, which gets larger with each card discarded. Madness cards in the deck typically include {C} and {C}. Some variants include {C} which can easily be discarded to grant flying to all of the deck's creatures. The deck's blue component also includes countermagic such as {C} and discard outlets such as {C}. {C} often discarded so it can be played for its Flashback cost.
