Grace Chan is a speculative fiction writer. Her writing explores brains, minds, technology, alien landscapes, relationships, power, identity, and hidden parts of the self. As a doctor in psychiatry, she is fascinated by psychology, neuroscience, consciousness, empathy, ethics, and the mind-body relationship.
Her soft-cyberpunk-with-feelings debut novel, Every Version of You, is about mind-uploading and identity and transformation. It’s set in near-future Australia and an expansive virtual reality world called Gaia. It will be published by Affirm Press in September 2022.
