Other

  • This set has a new way of numbering artifacts with a color identity, where they are placed after the spells of that color. Coastal Bulwark is unusual in that while it clearly is maximized if played with Islands, it does not actually have a color identity, yet is placed in the blue category of artifacts all the same.
  • Farid, Enterprising Salvager is the first eternal legal card to make tokens with no subtypes or abilities.
  • Urza's, Mishra's, and Loran's multi-card cycles are the first time since Core Set 2020 that multiple cards of the same character are featured within a set.
  • Levitating Statue is the first non-creature, non-Vehicle artifact to have a keyword ability (Flying) that is only relevant when animated, as opposed to gaining it with its activated ability. It is the second artifact of such after Darksteel Brute to have a keyword ability, who has the still-functional Indestructible.
