Leylines are ancient mana paths that flow and crisscross each other across a given landscape. All planes have a network of leylines.
They are often found rather than cast.[1]
Examples
- On Ravnica the leylines formed the Implicit Maze[2]
- The leylines coalesced into the gods of Amonkhet[3]
- On Zendikar the leylines connected the hedrons.[4]
- On Innistrad Nahiri created cryptoliths to bend the leylines to her will, and to summon Emrakul[5]
- Eldrazi are known to follow leylines[5]
