Donald Smith, Jr. (Cut Off, LA, 1995) is an American former professional player of Magic: the Gathering. In late 2017, he joined Wizards of the Coast R&D as part of the Play Design team.[1][2]
Donald started playing when Theros was released. In just a little over four years, he grinded his way to become a platinum pro and got himself an invite to the 2017 World Championship. After playing a lot of aggro decks, Donald qualified for the Pro Tour. Donald continued playtesting and dedicated himself to stay on the Pro Tour, and gained Platinum-level.[3]
