Shintaro Ishimura (石村信太朗) is a Japanese professional player.
Professional play
His best finish is eight-place at Pro Tour Paris 2011, where he played a White-Blue deck built around Stoneforge Mystic, but without Squadron Hawk.[1] Nine years later, almost to the week, he achieved a fourth-place finish at Players Tour Nagoya, again with a personal twist to an established frontrunner deck: Inverter combo, but built with Blue Devotion aspects. His performance garnered him an invite to the Rivals League for the 2020-2021 season. Ishimura also has three Grand Prix top eight finishes, at GP Shizuoka 2008, GP Yokohama 2013, and at GP Beijing 2015.
