The Seventh Edition 2 Player Starter Set was a Starter-level product, similar to Starter 2000. It was the last Starter-level product that was released.

- Two playmats to explain the different game zones
- 2 cardboard life counters
- 2 player guides which cover 1 demo game
- 1 enhanced rule book with 7th Edition rules
- 1 CD which contains 2 explanatory test games, a visual 7th Edition card list and weblinks
- 1 consumer response card to provide feedback
