This page is for proposal, discussion, and preparation of future featured articles for the Main Page.
If no proposed articles are in a ready state at the beginning of a new week, the previous featured article may remain. Regularly cycling the featured article demonstrates activity on the wiki, and is an important aspect of establishing credibility and respect.
Proposal guidelines
Article quality
A featured article should be representative of the best this wiki can offer. A prospective featured article should be well-written and copy-edited, and should be thoroughly cited. Articles should be of sufficient length that the Main Page can host a 2-3 paragraph blurb, while still leaving substantial further reading within the article proper. Every featured article should also have at least one image that can serve as a thumbnail.
Feel free to propose articles that do not yet meet these criteria. Other editors may help to improve those articles so that they can be featured.

In the interests of keeping the featured article topical, you may want to consider the following timeline of recent and upcoming product releases:
- April 8: Shadows over Innistrad
- June 10: Eternal Masters
- July 16: Eldritch Moon
- August 19: From the Vault: Lore
- August 26: Conspiracy: Take the Crown
