Ferret is an unique creature type that is only used Joven's Ferrets from Homelands. A ferret is a weasellike, often albino, mammal that is often trained to hunt rats or rabbits. It's closely related to the polecat. Joven's ferrets were probably used for burglary.
The only plane confirmed to have ferrets is Ulgrotha.
