Boat Brew was originally introduced by Brian Kowal in a cruise qualifier. This deck became very popular after it was first introduced (especially at Pro Tour Kyoto 09).

Here is an original deck list that was played in 2008.

Cruise-Qualifier-Champion

This deck, to put it simply, is a Red/White Reveillark deck which offers lots of card advantage through Reveillark, Knight of the White Orchid, Ajani Vengeant and Ranger of Eos.

Knight of the White Orchid combines with Mind Stone to double accelerate (if on the draw) at turn 3.

Ranger of Eos offers Figure of Destiny. If necessary, it can offer Burrenton Forge-Tender.

The finisher is, without a doubt, Siege-Gang Commander. If unblocked, Siege-Gang Commander can deal 12 damage max that turn.

The recent version of Boat Brew offers more aggressive cards. Here is a look at Pro Tour Kyoto Top 8 decks.

This version offers Path to Exile and Wrath of God for removal.

Spectral Procession offers more creature to activate 4 Windbrisk Heights

Also, Rangers of Eos can search Flamekin Harbinger, which put another Reviellark on top of the deck
