Boat Brew was originally introduced by Brian Kowal in a cruise qualifier. This deck becames very popular after it was first introduced (especially at Pro Tour Kyoto 09).
Here is an original deck list that was played in 2008.
This deck, put it simple, is just a Red/White Reveillark deck which offers lots of card advantage through Revillark, Knight of the White Orchid, Ajani Vengeant and Ranger of Eos.
Knight of White Orchid combines with Mind Stone to double accelerate (if on the draw) at turn 3.
Knight of White Orchid offers Figure of Destiny. If necessary, it can offer Burrenton Forge-Tender.
