Tolarian Academy deck was popular during Urza's block in 1998–1999. Playing zero- and one-cost artifacts first turn, the Tolarian Academy tapped for a lot of mana as soon as you find it. All wins happened by emptying excess mana into a monstrous Stroke of Genius to deck your opponent.
