Matthew "Matt" Place (Kansa City, MO) is a Magic player-turned-R&D member at Wizards of the Coast. Matt is a former Pro Tour winner and full-time Magic developer. Matt especially worked on the development of several multicolor-themed sets.[1] Matt is the elder brother of Dan Burdick.[2][3]
