Several Magic stories have been retold in Japanese Manga style comics.

Magic - Urza & Mishra

Magic - Urza & Mishra was published by Gotta Comics in December 2000. It is a retelling in of the Brothers' War.[1][2]

The cover depicts Urza, Ashnod and Mishra.

The Purifying Fire

On February 27, 2010, the Japanese magazine Dengeki-Maoh published a manga-version of The Purifying Fire, drawn by Yoshino Himori.[3][4]

Starting with Ixalan block, Wizards of the Coast Japan published a retelling of Magic Story on the MtG-JP Magic Story page.[5] Theros Beyond Death, which did not receive a book or story articles, did not receive a manga. The manga for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty was released in both Japanese and English.[6]

For Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty three special Buy-a-Box promo tokens were released in Japan only, featuring the three main characters depicted as an angel, a zombie and a faerie respectively. All three came packed together, and were exclusive to Amazon Japan and two other online stores. Each store had a slightly different card frame.[9][10]
