Elaine Chase is the former Brand Director for Magic: The Gathering at Wizards of the Coast. She is currently vice president and Studio Head of Wizards Kids Studio.
Chase has been working for the company since January 1999 when she started in the Organized Play department as the DCI Policy Manager. She got hired into the company primarily though her work as a level 3 Magic judge and had been playing on the Magic Pro Tour. In October 2000 she moved into R&D as a TCG Game Developer. After nearly 4 years she wanted to get more involved with the business side of things and voluntarily left R&D to move into the brand team working on licensed TCGs.[1] In October 2018, she became vice president for the newly developed Esports department, but was moved to Wizards Kids Studio in August, 2020.
