The deck uses <c>Exploration</c> and <c>Manabond</c> to put a large quantity of lands with various effects into play early on and is able to regrow discarded or destroyed lands with <c>Life from the Loam</c> and <c>Crucible of Worlds</c>. <c>Intution</c> and <c>Gamble</c>, are easy tutors for the deck as it does in general not care what cards land in it's graveyard.

Others provide support (<c>Nomad Stadium</c>, <c>Academy Ruins</c>). Lands is a control deck present in the Legacy format. It receives its name for the abundancy of lands compared to most decks.

The deck is strong against most opponents and its strategy makes it hard for opponents to deal with.

The strategy can win through a variety of ways:

Early Decklists

The deck used Exploration and Manabond to put a large quantity of lands with various effects into play consistently and was able to reuse discarded or destroyed lands with Life from the Loam and Crucible of Worlds.
