Tooth and Nail is a green combo deck which originated in Mirrodin block constructed. Via various land search effects, the deck wants to assemble an Urzatron to generate a large quantity of mana and cast the namesake Tooth and Nail with Entwine. In some version, the Urzatron is replaced by Cloudposts. With Tooth and Nail, a powerful combination of creatures is brought into play such as Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker with either Sundering Titan or Darksteel Colossus, Triskelion and Mephidross Vampire or Platinum Angel and Leonin Abunas. The Tooth and Nail can also be forced through a barrier of counterspells by using Boseiju, Who Shelters All.

The deck also heavily relied on the now banned Sensei's Divining Top. It was also able to generate some board control with Oblivion Stone.
