::In all fairness, the whole rift phenomina cemented a lot of things that were relatively nebulous. I loved the novels, but now it's kind of confusing, since there was no massive, planar scale magic worked on Yavimaya for there to have been a rift over it. Wasn't Yavimaya sprouted from the ruins of Argoth, and thus the source of the rift above it? The Sylex blast occured on the battlefield of Argoth. That much was very clear in the end of The Brother's War.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 96.81.251.57 (talkcontribs).

No. Fyndhorn was above the ruins of Argoth, Yavimaya is on the area where Yotia stood. The problem from Yavimaya and Argoth comes from Time Spiral, where the authot told that Yavimaya was above Argoth. They tried to resolve the dilemma in Dominaria, unsuccesfully to my opinion. --Firebead elvenhair (talk) 09:00, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

Yes, Multani trapped Urza for revenge of what he did to Argoth; however, on Yavimaya there were refugees from Fyndhorn, who in turn had fled from Argoth who could have brought that memory to Yavimaya. Both Multani and Titania were herald of Gaea, so it is possible that they shared a lot in their connection to the goddess. But as I already said, the relation between Argoth, Fyndhorn and Yavimaya had caused a lot of confusion in different sources, even from authors of the novels, so I wouldn't put too much in it. --Firebead elvenhair (talk) 12:31, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
In all fairness, the whole rift phenomina cemented a lot of things that were relatively nebulous. I loved the novels, but now it's kind of confusing, since there was no massive, planar scale magic worked on Yavimaya for there to have been a rift over it. Zhalfir and Shic were the entire phasing of continents, Urborg was the shifting of the Stronghold, Tolaria was the first time explosion then Barrin's incineration, Otaria was Karona, Madara was Nicol Bolas' duel with the demonic leviathan, Keld was the shifting of Skyshroud, and Argoth would have been the Sylex Blast. But the rift is very clearly right above Yavimaya. So, we see my confusion. I think the devs and R&D need to really clarify this with reconning either the rift debacle or the recent story changes. It's too ambiguous, especially to those who followed the stories up until Test of Metal. -OP
