Daniel "Dan" Burdick is a former Magic player and designer of the NecroDonate deck. He is the younger brother of Matt Place.

Dan became a Game Designer at Dire Wolf Digital. In March 2017, he was hired by Wizards of the Coast to lead the Play Design team.[1][2] In May 2018, he was replaced in that capacity by Bryan Hawley.[3]

For R&D he was part of the design team of Throne of Eldraine.
