The Official Tournament Center was located at the Wizards of the Coast headquarters in Renton, Washington.[1] It operated during 1996, prior to the opening of the much larger Game Center in nearby Seattle. The Official Tournament Center ran various Magic: The Gathering leagues and tournaments and also had a retail section.
The normal entry fee to the Official Tournament Center was $5, which was incorporated into any tournament fees. The Tournament Center had several network computers available on their "GameNet" for $5/hour. Additionally, patrons could become members of the Tournament Center at one of two levels. Several "members-only" events were held.
