Alchemy: Lorwyn is a Magic: The Gathering Arena-exclusive card set in the Alchemy series that was released on February 3, 2026.[3]

Description

Alchemy: Lorwyn is a digital only release adjacent to the release of Lorwyn Eclipsed. There are 30 new designed-for-digital cards included in the set (10 uncommons, 15 rares, 5 mythic rares).[4] The set takes place on Lorwyn-Shadowmoor.

Mechanics

The digital-only mechanics of one-time boon, conjure, draft, double team, perpetually, seek, and spellbook are reused. From the main set blight, evoke (on Incarnations) and vivid are reused. Convoke, exhaust, storm, and wither make cameo appearances.

Counters

Flame counters return via Tend to the Kiln, marking the third time the counter has appeared in a designed-for-digital set after Jumpstart: Historic Horizons and Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate.

Trivia

  • Gilt-Leaf Alchemist is a reference to a common misconception of new players when encountering mana-producing creatures; upon seeing "Add Green mana", they match it with the symbol on the basic Forest and hence retrieve a Forest to put into play.[7][8]
