Inquisitor is a creature subtype used for cards that depict a person making an inquiry, especially one seen to be excessively harsh or searching. It is a Warhammer 40K crossover type.
Description
Inquisitor was first used for the Serra Inquisitors in Homelands. The type was replaced with Cleric in the Grand Creature Type Update.
It was reintroduced for the crossover Warhammer 40,000 Commander Decks, where it is used to represent the clandestine agents of the Imperial Inquisition.
There are eleven older cards that are named Inquisitor. It is unknown if these will receive the Inquisitor type retroactively.
