Elder

Elder is an almost obsolete creature class, only used for the Elder Dragons. The type was saved because these cards from Legends used to have the type line Summon Elder Dragon Legend and to keep them distinct from the average dragon.

Note

Although there are many cards that have "elder" in their name (for example Argothian Elder, Elder Land Wurm, Leaf-Crowned Elder or Reverered Elder) none of them has the subtype Elder.
