The Bloodline Project was a large project of genetic engineering set up by Urza to create perfect warriors against Phyrexia. It created the Metathran soldiers, who had been mutated beyond humanity, as well as a group of humans and humanoids at the peak of their strength, agility, intelligence, et cetera.
Known “results” of the projects are:
- Thaddeus (Metathran)
- Agnate (Metathran)
- Rayne (1st generation)
- Hanna (2nd generation)
- Gerrard
- Sisay
- Crovax
- Rha’Ud

Throg and Kreig were “results” of the project Gatha started in Keld after he split off from the original project, believing it didn’t go far enough and that it was hindered by the ethics of other people working on the project (specifically Barrin).
