"Brims" Barone is a human rogue and midway mobster boss of Myra the Magnificent's Intergalactic Astrotorium of Fun.

Description

Brims is a mobster who runs a racket controlling the hat market in the Astrotorium.[1] His reach extends beyond the park, but he has a soft spot for the Astrotorium and focuses his market there. His hired enforcers muscle anyone entering from outside the park with their own hat.

Brims does not work for the park, as evidenced by his lack of employee typing.[1] But since he controls the hats, he follows the park around. Myra knows that part of the cost of doing business is dealing with Barone for all things hats.

History

Brims was the son of an unsuccessful haberdasher.[1] His father was more controlling with hats than others might have been, and he was always envious of other people's hats compared to his father's designs. This caused him to both love and hate hats, and he decided to one day have all hats under his control.
