Solitaire refers to any kind of Magic: The Gathering game, which can be played by oneself. Through the years, several formats have been proposed and created.[1]
- Playing Your Pet (1995) — a kind of diagnostic test to see how your deck runs.[2]
- Mana Maze (1995) — similar to 52 playing cards patience proposed by Mark Rosewater [3]
- Magic Solitaire (1999) — a simplified version off Mana Maze.[4]
- Horde Magic (2011) — playing against an automated deck.[5][6]
- Challenge Decks (2013) — Playing against a self-running deck with its own set of rules.[7]
- Aaron's Solitaire — Playing against an imaginary opponent.[8]
- Deep IQ — Playing against a set of tables requiring a d10.[9][10]
