The Ancestor is a sky goddess worshiped by the nomads of the Daru Plains in Otaria. The nomads believe that the Ancestor created all life on Otaria, including humans and aven. Daru life centered around worship of the Ancestor, and the clerics and mystics devoted to her wielded considerable influence. Whether or not this being truly exists, or is just a myth is unclear.
