The third, and last for most of Magic's history, card with the subtype Whale was Great Whale from Urza's Saga. More recently, however, Magic 2014 has added Colossal Whale and whales were also featured in the Kaladesh block.

Elemental whales can be found in both the seas and skies of Ikoria, where they are known to be taken as companions by Bonders.
Kaladesh
The Skywhales of Kaladesh are found in the aethersphere of the plane, living in the sky instead of the sea. They are hunted by whalers.
Ulgrotha
Narwhals can be found on Ulgrotha, where their horns are wielded as weapons by sea Trolls.
